TalkBuys.com Merchant Review: Surfside Sports – Great New Online Store for Surf, Skate and Snow Stuff

Surfside Sports Orange County's Premier Ride ShopI don’t know about you but my kids are in to skinny jeans, printed T-shirts, skater shoes, hoodies and the overall basic skater look.  The malls are great for finding this type of stuff, but there’s no real originality- until now.  We just found this online store called Surfside Sports.  They have some of the most cutting edge clothing available for this style of dress.  Along with the look, they also carry gear for surf, skate and snow.  Right now, they are giving new customers a discount of 10% just for trying them out.

Receive 10% off your next purchase with Surfside Sports, your leader in surf, skate and snow gear! Type ‘new customer’ at checkout.

    Review:

The website is simple to navigate.  You’ll want to pay close attention to the link bars on the left of the site.  There you will find two links that we found very useful.  First is the “Bargain Basement” link.  It features closeouts and other great deals, most of which are at least 50% off.  Also, you’ll find the “Coolest and Newest” section.  This link bar will point you to pages and pages of the newest products on the site.   It’s constantly being updated, so you’ll want to check back often.

In addition to the ease of use, you’ll find a wide variety of price ranges for their products.  Surfside features some of the top brand names.  In fact, when you search by brand, you’ll notice hundreds of brands, including all of the favorites.  The search by brand feature is also very useful.  It allows for you to look at all products by a specific manufacturer. As of today, the site offers FREE 3-day UPS shipping on all orders over $49.00.  When we reviewed the site, we also found the live chat feature extremely useful.  The site features PayPal payments, Google Checkout and other secure shopping features, so you can shop with confidence.

If your kids are in to this style or these sports give Surfside Sports a try.  They’ve been serving customers since 1975, so they must be doing something right.

Vans Era Shoes – Black and White Two Tone – Where’s the Best Place to Buy Them?

Vans Era Shoes -  Where to Get the Best Price

I am looking for a deal on black and white two tone vans era shoes.  Does anybody have any idea where to get the best deal on them?

    Rokkerz98,
It doesn’t appear that anybody has answered your question yet, so I’ll give you some premium service today to show others how this works.

After searching hundreds of web sites for you, it appears that there are two price levels that are available for the VANS Era Two Tone Black/True White. The first is for youth sized shoes, which range from 11T to size 6. The best price we found in that series was at Tilly’s.comicon, and was $28.99 plus shipping and sales tax. Those costs will depend on where you live. The second price level is for men’s VANS, starting at size 6.5. It appears that Vans may have a minimum selling price because nearly everybody advertising the Vans Era shoe is showing it for $41.99, which is also the price of it in most stores. Oddly enough, Zappos.com was the most expensive at $56.00. Several companies offered free shipping on orders over $50.00. Also, you should know that not all stores carry the shoes in all sizes, so you’ll need to verify the size is correct prior to purchasing.

I recommend that you consider purchasing them from RobertWayne.com. Their pricing was a few cents cheaper than everybody else, they have a wide variety of sizes, and you’re much more likely to find the Vans Era Two Tone shoe that you want in the size you need. Other sites that had this shoe when we researched it, but in limited sizes, were The-House.com, HotTopic.com, Zumiez.com and Vans.com.
