Cheap Aifare $10 to Las Vegas From Idaho Falls on January 10,2010

I just purchased airfare from Idaho Falls, ID to Las Vegas for $9.99 per person one way. With taxes and everything, two of us will be flying from Idaho Falls to Las Vegas for $41.00.  Check Allegiantair.com to book your cheap Vegas get-away or to find similar buys.

Here are a couple of purchasing hints when you’re booking with
Allegiant Air.

  1. Allegiant charges extra for booking online or via their call in telephone system.  To save an extra $14.00 in per ticket fees, go to the Allegiant Air counter at your local airport and purchase the tickets there.  They do not charge this “convenience” fee at the airport.
  2. If you purchase a ticket from Allegiant Air online, be aware that they have some automatic add-ons selected that will show up on your purchase unless you unselect them.  They are normally trip insurance and some form on transportation from the airport.  They may also include premium seating or pre-selected seats, both of which carry an additional charge.
  3. If you plan on checking luggage, pre-purchase this option when you buy your ticket.  Allegiant Air will charge $20.00 per checked bag if you pre-purchase it, or $35.00 per bag if you do not.

Other than that, Allegiant is a great airline.  I’ve flown them many times and have always had a good experience.  If you’re looking for inexpensive airfare, check Allegiant Air.  Also, you should note, Allegiant’s fares are not available on some of the more popular travel sites like Expedia.com, Priceline.com, Hotwire.comor Orbitz.com.  Because they are a discount airline, they only allow ticket purchase made directly through them, although good travel agents have access to sell their tickets as well.
